To keep everyone safe I would like to remind you of the float rules: - No alcohol to be consumed - Water pistols must not be used, this is to ensure that everyone enjoys the day please do not throw anything from the lorries into the spectators. - Any children must be restrained on the lorry, this is usually achieved by crating a barrier around the edge of the trailer by using bales of straw etc. - Adults must supervise the children and ensure that when vehicles are moving they remain seated - Anybody travelling on a lorry in the parade must arrive at the slip road on the lorry. Please do not let people be dropped off in the slip road to mount the lorries as it causes congestion and is a safety issue - All lorries must have normal insurance and tax for on the road If you intend on entering a float please let the parade organiser Graham Steward know on 07368 243323 or click on the link below to email the details of your float. |
