Every year the Gala Committee put on a free display for the people who live in and around Overseal.
The moneys that pay for this is all raised on Gala Day and from a bucket collection on the night.
The Overseal Gala Firework Display is always held on the Sunday closest to November 5th with the fireworks starting at 6pm.
The event is registered with the South Derbyshire District Councils Bonfire & Firework Registration Scheme that ensures that the display is a well-organised event.
Also on the night there are attractions including a BBQ, Hot Drinks, Donuts Van, Children's Rides and other stalls.
